I'm not close, but Texas is still south....

Sure thing. We drive through there quite a bit going to Jonesboro, Hot Springs, and Little Rock.

Having any luck this year?
No. I've got two little kids so I hardly get to go. Mostly just mornings for a little bit. Haven't even seen a buck, just does. I'm holding out for a big 8 I got on camera and he hasn't been coming out in daylight. You?

Not really. I only have access to some public ground here. I gained access to about 40 acres in Madison county but don't want to burn it up before modern gun season opens so I'm holding out for that. Haven't gotten to the point where I have trail cameras out so I just pick some spots I think are going to move through and set up there. Been out twice. I've seen two does. But I have only been able to hunt mornings those days.

If you consider Maryland as south; it is below the Mason-Dixon line, then yes, I am a southerner.
