Could have been the santa from the enchanted forest. That would be somewhat in the neighborhood of the peabody iirc. You would need to be drunk to be the santa down there.

I just went and looked and they have moved the enchanted forest to the pink palace instead of it being downtown. I mean you could still catch the lead poisoning out there but prolly a little safer.
 
Oh wow, I hadn't thought of the Pink Palace in years. I had a really weird thing happen when I was a kid related to the Pink Palace. Our class was going up there for a field trip. The night before the trip I dreamed the whole trip, everything we saw, everything we did, everything that was said, verbatim. It was just the weirdest thing I have ever experienced. It just happened that one time. I can't explain it.

Gonna need you to dream me up an 8 point or better buck in bow range that catches an arrow in the riblets. I will be hunting this weekend.
 
i got a nice 11am photo of a 6pt yesterday - figure he was moving later in the morning to avoid the frigid cold. our next cold front moves in tomorrow and I may try to get up to that area Saturday around the same time, see if he repeats this move. would be nice to sleep in a little and get out around 8a rather than 530!
 
Here we go! 10+" of snow due to fall in the next 24 hours. Big Leake effect snow band is gonna dump on us. as We get closer the amounts keep going up.

Whereabouts? We’re melting good today and have two cold days ahead but then it’ll be in the 50-60s next week.
 
Going out tomorrow. Overnight low 24F. Plan to start the mile back walk around 8ish, when temps are closer to 30F. hoping it’s not absolute misery.

Just remember to “be bold, go in cold.” Don’t overdress for the walk or you’ll get sweaty and be freezing. Put the layers on when you stop - body temp keeps rising for a while after and your layers will still get toasty.
