So last fall I won my 1st cellular camera at a benefit dinner. A spartan go Cam powered by Verizon. I was so excited about this because I was in the market for one anyway and couldn't wait to use it. I used it from 11/2018 until 2/2019 and then stored it In my safe for the spring off season. During that time it preformed pretty well and I was really enjoying the camera and planned to pick up another this summer. So last week I pulled it out of my safe and powered it on and immediately was having issues. At first It would connect to Verizon but wouldn't send pictures to my phone and then I couldn't get it to turn on at all most of the time. So after troubleshooting with a tech on the phone he declared something to be wrong with the camera and to send it in for repair/replacement. At this time I explained how I won the camera at a benefit dinner and didn't have a recipt for it but that it was less than a year old. He said that they would take care of it and for me to just send the camera in. So I mail the camera in and have to include the return postage ($25) which I was okay with as long as i was going to get things fixed and get my camera back into the woods. Well i get an email today saying that they had no problem turning it on but couldn't get it to connect with Verizon (funny that me and the tech on the phone had the exact opposite findings???). They said the camera has connection issues and the o-ring for the antenna was missing (it was present when I removed the antenna and shipped it to them) and because of that they suspect I caused water damage to the unit somewhere and also since I dont have the receipt they cant do anything for me with that camera but they offered 10% off a BRAND NEW one lol. sorry for the rant I just figured if anyone is in the market for a cell camera they should know how certain companies treat their customers. Goodbye Spartan hello Exodus....
