I've been searching the webs for a very specific pocket knife and I can't seem to find it. Looking for simple pen knife/trapper style folder with a single blade and a saw... that's it. Seems everything I find also has a gut hook and I don't need one. Ideally the blade and saw would both lock but that's not a hard requirement.

Anybody know of a knife like this?

Love the suggestion sir! Thank you. This is the design I'm looking for. 7.8" with a 3.7" blade isn't a small knife to me though. Also, reviews say the saw locks but the blade doesn't.
3.7" saw is pretty small for a saw. I wonder if the auction sites would have a vintage (as in made in America) model you prefer?

I'm halfway curious about it. Let us know!
Will do sir. Looks like an ok knife. I reshape the blade on all my knives to be more of a sheepsfoot (really dislike sharpening a curved blade). Just concerned the overall closed length is going to be too long for my liking.

I've quartered many a deer with a Case Trapper and a big bodied buck just a few days ago with the Mini trapper so the blade should be plenty big on that knife to use for deer. What chores do you foresee the saw blade being used for?

In all honesty I want the saw so I can take care of little <1" branches around my ground setups. I'm tired of carrying my single use branch saw. Unlikely I'll use it on bone because breaking the pelvis isn't part of my gutting process (leave butt in and tie off intestines instead). I figure if it's good enough for bone, its good enough for branches.

It will probably work good for that. From the picture it seems to have Sierra style teeth. I'll be looking forward to some in the field reviews soon.
