Spray Painting Stealth Strips??

Has anyone ever tried spray painting their climbing sticks sticks that are already stealth stripped?
 
I haven’t, just curious as to why you would need to?
 
I'm not a fan of the dark color camo I got years ago. Recently cut them down and just feel like switching it up really.
 
I tried a small spot...seems like it might be a little sticky. See how it is tomorrow.
