Have any of you noticed your rebel platform squeaking when shifting your weight?

1-stick or platform? I didn't notice any squeaking but I covered the tread with nonskid, and then wrapped over that with paracord and vet wrap. I've heard of some platforms squeaking against the tree bark, but that probably is more a factor of the species of tree than the platform. I guess you could put some rosin or silicone or something on the teeth.

Latitude’s rebel platform. Maybe it’s the teeth against the tree, maybe it’s post against the washers and the platform itself. I’m just wondering if anyone has experienced squeaks or other noises from their rebel while on the tree.

I have an x-wing that was more pop/creaky when I shifted my weight around but that was only one occasion and I had it stupid tight. Seems counterintuitive but I think it was too tight. My washers definitely don't squeak, mine is floppy but I never remember to tighten them up

I’ve found that any stand off or v bracket that penetrates through the bark into the wood of the tree can create noise. The deeper the noisier. That’s why the beast stand had the noise issues, the beast stand off bites very deep into the tree.

Good to know guys, thank you.

My bad, I was thinking Rebel Fab, not Latitude Rebel. Disregard my comment.
