Beautiful! But you're gonna lose them on the tree. Better put some reflective paint on the tread area!

A strap on step may have some give in it when you first step on it depending how tight you get it. I always stand on all my steps when I set up to settle them in if they need it. After that they are very solid. They would be loud because they're metal but I wrap them in vet wrap tape to keep them dead quiet. They're not heavy, 5 of them is the lightest platform you'll find. You're still using your cranford screw in's right?

Yes but I have a predator platform that I've yet to use brand new. Not sure I'll like it so I figure strap and steps would be better just never knew anything other than cranford.
