A strap on step may have some give in it when you first step on it depending how tight you get it. I always stand on all my steps when I set up to settle them in if they need it. After that they are very solid. They would be loud because they're metal but I wrap them in vet wrap tape to keep them dead quiet. They're not heavy, 5 of them is the lightest platform you'll find. You're still using your cranford screw in's right?Spongy on a strap? Loud? Heavy?

Yes but I have a predator platform that I've yet to use brand new. Not sure I'll like it so I figure strap and steps would be better just never knew anything other than cranford.A strap on step may have some give in it when you first step on it depending how tight you get it. Search "calling all ameristeps users," fasten your seatbelts, and pour an adult beverage. 'Tis the tale of how the perfect step was born. If anything is really "by saddlehunters, for saddlehunters" these are them.Yes but I have a predator platform that I've yet to use brand new.
