Squirrel steps or bolts

How do you like SS for climbing
How long to 20 feet

I only carry 8 so the highest I get is 19 ft to my ros. Climbing is fine, takes a couple minutes longer than sticks to climb but I love how compact they are. Also very quiet if you take your time.

Do you use an OCB buckle/ strap on each step or something else ?

25 a pop! It does seem spendy. Geesh, saddle hunting is so awesome, but i cant quit spending $$$ trying new items

TreeHopper has steps that are stackable, light, quiet, super strong and less expensive.

one stick is cheap - $50 for a hawk stick.

A good hand drill is $60 plus bolts are $2 each.

I bought 175 bolts on eBay last week for just about $100.

Yes I do. I like how solid they are on an osb. I didn’t care for the give the steps have with a cam buckle.
