SRT pre set sequence

So my last DRT go in the dark sucked. Problem getting my rope over the limbs. Way more work climbing than I thought in hunting mode. Maybe have rushed a little. So picked up an ascender. So why drt with an ascender? Why not just SRT right? Pull the rope over the limb like DRT, then use my delta? Go around the rope and pull it up? Use my preset line to pull the Delta down if needed? SRT up the line? I was running a JRB hitch. Which is working. Didn't dive into all the different Brocky friction hitches. But run that on top to my bridge, ascender underneath with footloop. Work my way up. Hunt, rappel down rope with such device or the JRB hitch. Pull down Delta link. Tie pre set line back to rope and pull back over tree right?

Sounds about right. I would still practice at least a 1/2 dozen times before trying to do it when it’s dark. You can also put the hand ascender with the footloop on the MRS if you were struggling thrusting. One may work better than the other for you.
