Second the throw bag, they are pretty cheap and nearly indestructible. I think that plastic lid would get shattered on the first throw. Also important is to make sure you learn the correct knot for tying on a throw bag, it's like a slip knot that can come off easily and has saved me from leaving a bunch of throw line in the woods, lol.

I have thrown the set up in the tree many times and it has not broke. But where can I get the throw bag?

If that hits you on the head you will know it.
If you want to make one, get some tough fabric, fold it a couple times, put 10 oz of lead shot in it, sew it shut. Melt/poke a hole to tie line......voila.

Take a plastic sandwich bag and fill it with about 12-16 oz of shot lead or pellets. Form into a roughly tube shape. Take about a foot of webbing, put a ring on it, form into a loop. Wrap it around the whole thing and wrap in a ton of duct tape so the loop sticks out.

I've shot a bag like this up into a tree at least 50 times with no damage whatsoever. Not as nice as my commercially made bag,but its weight on a string...how fancy does it to be?
