Hey Gents, I'm in the process of putting together gear for SRT climbing to saddle hunt from. Ran into a little canundrum on this subject. For critical non failure connection points it's advised to use steel over aluminum however connection rings and rigging plates in steel seem to be nigh impossible to find compared to aluminum ones. Is steel overkill for 30ft accents then hanging their for 4-6hrs or what? I've found some biners in steel I liked but seems redundant to use a steel biner with an aluminum rigging plate in the same connection point
