Stick attachment to XL tree

I am wondering what would be the best way to attach API sticks to an XL tree base...rope mod? If so what rope dia? Or would a long Amstel daisy be better?

When I ran cam buckles I had short amsteel Daisy chains I used as extensions. I switched to rope mod on my sticks and just made them long enough to accommodate a XL tree.

Small dyneema slings make good extensions to cam straps also. Make sure anything you add to your pack “just in case“ has multiple uses.
