Stick Bag idea

I have had this idea for a while. Carrying sticks with a lawn chair bag. It works great! Carrying the sticks in this canvas bag mitigates snag hazards and gives me an easy carry sling. The only negative is that the cheap material is noisy. I may sew one out of another material. I think there is a happy medium between noise and snaggyness. The other cool thing is that they have two sizes. I don’t know if these can be bought separate or not. Has anyone used this before?

I use a bag like that I sewed from Lt. Wt canvas and love it. Just drop sticks in and drop ropes in on top. No need to roll them up.

I like that Idea, What is you used it a bag that had cinch straps on the outside to be sure the sticks didn't make any noise.

A potential problem I see if getting them out of the pack would lead to noise. What if you made a pack similar to the WE step bag(with buckles instead of zipper) with a strap integrated into it.

Mainly to make them a more curved profile that would be less likely to catch on brush. I don’t have much problem with my sticks being too noisy. They are still synched together with a strap before being put in the bag. The bag does dampen stick noise; however, a different fabric would be required to mitigate fabric noise. The standard fabric is quite noisy. Once you have the different fabric, getting them in and out is a breeze.

Mine are not tied together but make no noise because the bag contours to my back just like a back quiver, hence pinching the sticks together.

I had considered doing something similar, but hadn't come across anything that was good. The chair bag is a good idea. Would be nice to find something in a quieter material like you said.
