Anyone figure out a good way to strap climbing sticks directly onto a Molle grid? I’ve tried a few different ideas including webbing retainers from DanO and I’ve come up empty.

Looking to stop wasting money on ideas...

Never tried this, but couldn't you just use 1" webbing with a small loop on one end, and a G hook on the other? Mount the sticks Horiz or Vert, wrap the webbing around from each side, hook the G on the loop, tighten. I'm not sure if it'd stay tight, but it's dead simple.

have you tried ROK straps bungee/fastex buckle straps(for motorcycle cargo)? With end girth hitched on the outside of the grid? I use these to strap sticks to stand regula;rly and they work great. they even make them in camo:

I concur. Although I might even throw Ghooks on both sides for simplicity. I have done something similar on my HH G2. Works like a charm!

What about something like this???? Attach the F end to Molle & M end to stick leave 3-4 inches of tail so you could hook behind your back.....

That’s my go to right now, tried a few diff clips & para cord loops & if they were open I’d worry they’d drop & we’re a pain to get hooked & unhooked behind me. Maybe worth a revisit

I tied paracord loops to mine then hung the sticks off that when I climbed

Working on some prototype pack Talons right now. Shoot me a pm if interested. The setup will be similar to mine but with universal strap design to fit any pack size. Also number of clips & spacing is adjustable for number of sticks & model.

Think I’m going to give these a try on some d loops on the outside of my pack.

These look pretty good. I am currently running helium’s and I’ve figured out I’m basically trying to make a stick quiver for them.
