One of you industrial magicians know if they make a magnets that come in some sort of rope or string type configuration. I am going to build myseld a daypack and I want to use magnets for a closure system like the Badlands stealth series packs. I love those bags but the layout doesn't work for me.

I read a review on a backpack where the reviewer had trouble with his compass because of the magnets in his backpack.

I'm sure he did but I won't be needing a compass when using this one......

My Rivers West hunting clothing had magnets for closures on all pockets. I found them a PIA cause they would close at the wrong times and made noise when they snapped together.
Plus the compass deflection and loss of magnetism.

Yeah I would not want it in clothing but that’s irrelevant for this project.

H I have been sewing (speedy stitcher)/glueing magnets where I need them. As long as it's small and strong I can configure multiples however I need them.

Maybe put magnets inside some tubular webbing and keep them separate with a few stitches.
