I know..... the optimum time to scout is just after the season ends......not four weeks before the bow season starts, but life gets in the way. Last week I had a chance to get my property cameras done so with the week-end off I'm heading out on the public- spending the day throwing line( SRT presets) in as many trees as possible today, it's a big mountain and lots of ground to cover....wish me luck! I'll try to update if I make it back to camp tonight! Tomorrow am early wind is right for some swamp recon -heading to a tree stand for a morning sit( 300- 400 yards down wind) see if I can see my boy, this will make the third year I've been on this buck hope he made the winter OK it was a heavy snow year and him and me aren't getting any younger!
