Suunto X9MI Strap help!

I know this is a long shot. But apparently Suunto stopped making bands for the x9. x9i, x9mi, x10, etc. This is like a $600 watch :-(
Any chance someone has a broke one of these models they want to get rid of for parts? I need a band!! the watch is well...not a watch without it.

Crazy question but could Anobody use your old band and make one out of para cord?

Unfortunately the face of the watch sit into a recessed section of a strap, which is all one piece that also includes the button covers/etc. A paracord band would be awesome...but this is the tough part.

yeah....and suunto doesnt make them any more or have them in stock....nothing like rendering a $600 gps watch worthless by discontinuing the band....
