Switching positions

I’m curious to know how often you guys end up switching up positions while hunting.

I lean 98% of the tome, but I’ve noticed I do tend to swap up my feet positions, wiggle, etc pretty regularly. I don’t believe it’s ever costed me a deer as I am focused when that time comes.

I stand straight legged on the edge of my platform majority of the time then switch to feet fully on platform, then back to edge, then back to on, occasionally resting my knees for a minute then back to standing.

Anyone else switch pressure up regularly?

More than I'd like to. I can't seem to get super comfortable for long periods of time. I stick with the saddle for weight savings though. Not certain if I'd say it's way more comfortable than a treestand for me at least.

I find myself standing in a leaned back position and knees bent slightly about ninety nine percent of the time. It seems natural and comfortable to me but everyone has to find their own zone.

I think I’ve converted to a sitter. I’ve always been a leaner but the last 10 days I’ve been sitting until the time comes when i I expect action. Then I switch to leaning. But I’m much more still while sitting.

My back will start bothering me if I don't reposition. I reposition roughly every 30 minutes. I had to do the same with my hang on stand. I set up in trees that keep any movements I make covered if at all possible. Really not that much movement to go from lean to sit if u got ur tether dialed in right. I also tend to sway a bit side to side when leaning...if it a super calm quiet condition I usually stay seated but those conditions are rare for me. With me being up concealed in the branches and back cover I don't worry about my inability to sit still..if I get busted I get busted

If trees are swaying in the wind then swaying may be part of the camouflage.

I have leaned my whole saddle experience, but while leaning my legs will get tired. If they’re locked out they don’t get tired, but after 20-30 mins of standing there with slightly bent legs they begin to get tired and I switch it up.

I think adding sitting in as more solid option would be a great thing for me.

How are you sitting? Leaning into tree with pads? Wrapping legs around trees?

Mostly sitting with knees against tree. My knees get a little painful after a while. I found recently that adding a board to my saddle enabled me to straddle the tree without hip pinch so I go knees or straddle or lean now.
