Is it me or has anyone else lost stuff they stuffed in their SYS haulers?
First lost my brand new Black Diamond headlamp, that was in the side pocket, maybe need make something to close it shut. Then lost my ATC XT belay, think maybe I had that in with the main SYS pocket with tether and it came out when I pulled out the tether. Hopefully will find them next time out. Do you all use the big pockets exclusively for tether and line belt?

Haven’t lost anything but I’m always checking cuz I think I will

I tend to reserve the large pouch exclusively for my LB & Tether. I stuffed my recliner into one side pouch, and my homemade HYS strap with clips in the other. The items in the side pouches are a snug fit & haven't seemed to start falling out or anything like that. I attach all of my extra clips to my saddle. I felt like anything sticking out of the side pockets had a tendency to fall out, or at least the potential to do so.

I carry my diy sys hauler es on my right hip, front pocket gets my predator platform strap had it in the back originally but also worried about it falling out and not noticing. It is a snug fit and havent had any issues so far. Rear pocket now carries my pull up rope though I have a keychain caribeaner on the end that I clip to my harness just in case, but is again a fairly snug fit. Honestly I would just be cautious with what items you store in the side pouches.
