Why are the organs on most deer targets set so far back? The heart nearly never lined up to where it actually is on a deer.

Any recommendations on more realistic targets?

Honestly in the dark light of my basement I can’t see the foam insert anyway so I end up shooting well according to deer anatomy.

I wish they'd make a target with a good, anatomically correct shoulder crease. That's my target. Stick it just forward of or in the crease between a third and halfway up the deer and let it rip.

Same with me. I get what you're saying though, it would be nice if the inserts were in the correct place and not on the side halfway down the deer on some.

My hurricane bag is pretty accurate and stops arrows fast to boot. Also, they pull out easy, always a plus, sometimes when you can't pull out you get yourself in trouble.

I've always thought it'd be cool to have a way to do internal organs, and be able to peel away the outer layer to see where your arrow went.

Is that Inhale or Exhale?

Every pro knows you have to shoot during the Inhale to maximize lung target.

It'd be perfect if deer never jumped the string and had there leg and shoulder bones blocking the vitals.

A liver shot deer is a very dead deer. First deer I ever liver shot made it 20 yards and bled like a horror flic
