TEAM 2 Thread (2023)

I haven't even made it to the woods yet. One of my buddy's had some free time on Monday so instead of hunting we cut down 5 big oak trees beside my house that I've been wanting rid of. I could probably hunt today but going to rest one more day as my left arm is still not doing well from all that cutting. Warming up quite a bit tomorrow so I'll probably just wait until the weekend to get out.

I gave most of it to him for helping but still got a ton leftover. He has a large dump trailer that we loaded up with limbs and took to the dump. Then loaded it up two more times with trunk logs (some as small as 4-5' others the full 16' depending on diameter as the tractor couldn't pick up the longer sections near the tree base, just too heavy). The tractor with grapple paid for itself on Monday.

Yeah looks like 15mph to 20mph here in Indiana. I will still go this weekend. Just pick bigger trees and won't go as high to limit the amount of tree movement. Lol. Will keep you posted on success. Hopefully get something down this weekend.
 
First time out for me this year but he was too little. Really small doe came under me as well
