Which do you do?
Does either have an advantage
1: clip your tether carabiner directly to your bridge; or
2: loop your tether around your bridge, reconnecting the end to your tether, via something like a ropeman, similar to the TL method.

I never thought of method number 2.
I use number 1 . I don't know of any advantageous to number 2. I t may make your bridge slide poorly through your tether due to friction. You need a longer tether too.

How would you thread your bridge through the tether ropeman? You need a tag end to be able to do that.

I suppose you could loop that tether around but then you still need a way to clip/tie it off... seems like a biner easily solves all of those issue. Plus it’s load bearing.

I guess what I am getting at is to those using a TL...how do you connect: using the TL strap, a rope/biner, or some other way.

#1 when I'm using a rope/ropeman setup.
#2 When I used the trophyline webbing strap.

I'm working on a project that might bring #2 back into style again :D Maybe even to be released this weekend!

Careful. Everyone going to be asking for a video.

TL users...do you use a rope tether or the TL strap? Red already answered.

I used the provided TL strap forever until I came to saddlehunter. I will still use it occasionally just for the heck of it. I know it doubles as a tow strap when necessary.

I bought a TL to keep as a backup...and I am liking it better than my Evo over heavy winter clothing.

Still figuring things out with the TL and you are the master of the TL...the bridge is a strap,2 layers thick, so it can be tightened...if I tighten, it creates a big loop it the upper layer...do I hook into the upper layered loop, or around both layers?

Around both layers.

Yep, both layers. If you hook into the outer and load your weight into it then the tightening capacity is maxed out and creates the dreaded hip squeeze. Just use the outer strap to tighten while walking.

Went out this morning...hooking into both layers made a world of difference. Too bad I got busted....monday is my last chance.
