Tether Comparison Video

I like the idea of tying a knot in the tag end and hooking that to the carabiner as a back up. I would use a ropeman 1 on my tether that way vs just using a prussick now.
 
Nice video! I think the kestrel comes with a prusick knot now, at least the one I purchased at the beginning of the year did. Was yours older?

Nice job with the video! One other type of tether not mentioned, and perhaps less commonly used, is the flat strap which was used with now-discontinued saddles such as the TrophyLine and the Guidos Web. Even many users of those saddles have replaced their tether with a rope tether like shown in the video. Not that there is anything wrong with the strap tether, just that many users find the rope tether to be more convenient.
