Tether guide mod on stick?

I’m looking to mod the top center of my helium stick(s). I’d like to be able to put my stick right up against my tether but be rope friendly……thinking like a piece of a pulley stuck on top kind of thing. Anyone done something like this? Or What’s the obvious everyone has done mod I have been missing? Getting close to that time! Woohoo!!
 
I saw a platform/stick that seemed to have groove built it. It lets your tether hold he stick in place while attaching he cord…..no one?
