Hello guys,
New to this whole saddle game. I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but just want to make sure. I have a tethrd tether and the rubberized coating that covers the splice stitching came off so I just ended up taking it off. That rubber piece just protects the stitching right? It doesn’t serve any purpose regarding structural integrity by keeping pressure on the splice does it? Thanks in advance,

Not sure what you're referring to. I have a tether from Tethrd purchased earlier in the year. There's no rubberized coating on mine. Pics?
