I hear the Mantis’ comin’
It’s ready to be shipped
And I ain’t very happy
Cause I went and slipped
I’m stuck with this other Saddle
And time keeps draggin’ on
But the Mantis keeps a sellin’
Going to other folks homes.

When I was just a novice
G2 told me son
Just buy a Mantis Saddle
And your searching will be done
But I bought some other saddle
Just to try it out
And when I think about it
I hang my head and pout.

I know there’s lots of wise men
Who were thinking clear
And soon they’ll be sittin’ comfortable
And killin’ lots of deer
But I am stuck with this other saddle
And I know I can’t be free
But the Mantis keeps on selling
And that’s what tortures me.

Well, if I could free me from this saddle
If a Mantis Saddle was mine
You can bet I’d be in a tree somewhere
Hangin’ from a line
In a Mantis Saddle
That’s where I want to stay
And I’d let that Mantis Saddle
Take my blues away.
 
I love it! I too can not wait on my Mantis to arrive!! Nothing like a new rendition of JC!!
