Tethrd Saddle attachment loop for Predator Platform - for use while climbing

I came up with this simple solution for attaching my Predator platform to my Mantis saddle while climbing the tree. I simply took about a 10" section of tubular strap and sewed on two attachment clips to each end. These were the closest clips I could find similar to what Tethrd uses on their SYS haulers. I picked mine up at Hobby Lobby for about $2 bucks. They each slip inside the molly attachment loops on the side of my saddle and they form a large loop. The top bracket of the Predator platform easily fits inside the loop and stays put when you climb. This would also work well for when you're walking however I think overtime it would be a little more weight on my saddle than I'd like.

My plan is to carry my bow in hand when I walk to my tree and I'll have my platform attached to my pack. When I get to the tree I'll remove my platform from my pack and attach it to my hip then I'll attach my bow to my pack and start climbing. So far it seems to work great! Anyway, I just wanted to share my simple DIY project and hope you guys like it!

Great idea. Couldn't you have tied a loop of paracord and done the same thing? Not knocking what you did, but that would have probably been my first choice lol. Either way it will work!!

Yeah, that definitely would work too but I wanted something that could easily be removed without tying or untying any knots and I had the extra tubular webbing just lying around.

I use nite izes with my Ridge Runner. Super light and easy to attach to platform Quiet too.

just was lookin into an idea like this..to carry less and still be fucntional.

Nice idea, I ended up with the kydex molle j hooks that @DanO sells.. attached a small loop of paracord to my platform then just slid the paracord into the j hook.

Not terrible but I use the rubber heavy duty twist ties and have it in the rear of my saddle.

Your seems loose and can rattle like crazy it seems.
