Hey guys new saddle Hunter got my flex on preorder. I chose the flex for comfort but I really like the sys haulers on the Mantis for carrying my tether and linemens ropes do you think they will attach just fine on the flex if I order a couple?

What makes them better?
Well made, the fleece is more durable but somewhat stretchy so you can really pack stuff in. Pretty sure they are cheaper and generally more readily available. Also the draw cord closures are more durable, the syshaulers have really thin cords.

I must be brutal on stuff because neither bag lasted long for me unfortunately. I just stuff them in my pack or keep them daisy chained up.

I have never owned the fleece, but one season with the sys haulers on my flex and they are toast. Stitching on draw string and top of bag wore out pretty quick.

Do the Dan O haulers stay open? I got two (!!!) seasons out of my SYS hauler, need to replace also my stitching blew out at the top. I couldn't stand how I needed two hands to put a rope in them.

I really like the sys haulers but all 4 that I have had have holes around the draw string fabric area. One was a replacement for one of the first ones I had that ended up tearing.

They do not stay open as there is no structure to them, but they are easier to find the openings because the material and the draw string are thicker than the syshaulers.

I prefer the saddlecloth pouches from EWO. No burrs and seem to hold up better than the fleece.
