Hey everyone! My name is Andrew Blair, and I just wanted to post about the Tethrd Teach and Train Tour event that will be taking place in Oklahoma City. The date of the event will be May 2nd, 2020!! The event will take place at Lake Thunderbird State Park from 12pm-5pm CST. The exact location is the Zoom Beach Pavilion.

@Aaronpaul14 will be the host of this event, and you can send him a message on here or email at aaronpaul14@gmail.com if you have any question!

The goal of this event is to teach new comers and rookie saddle hunters how to effectively use the saddle and get started safely, as well as let everyone test out all of the new goodies being offered by Tethrd before purchasing. We should all come away from this event learning something new!

I will have current product offerings from Tethrd on display for all to try and will be doing giveaways as well. We will also be offering a discount code which you can take advantage of by attending the event. Food will also be provided by Tethrd, so if you have suggestions of something you'd like, drop it in the comments. Unfortunately, I think lobster and prime rib might be a bit over the top, but maybe something like pizza, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, etc.

These events are free of charge and all levels from zero to experienced are welcome. All brands are welcome, as Tethrd is not doing this to push their products but formerly introducing products and the concepts of saddle hunting to the community. This is a great opportunity to try before you buy if you so choose, or get a feel for what you may want after seeing all of the gear everyone has to offer!

There is an Eventbrite event created for this event, and you can find that at the following link. This will also provide you with any other additional information that you may need! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/95994940451

If you're reading this and are not from the area there are several events happening so be sure to check out https://tethrdnation.com/teach-n-train-tour/ for locations and event host information.

Hopefully we can have a great turnout to this event, make some new friends, and learn a thing or two about how to be more effective in the woods!

Thanks!

Andrew

Hey guys talking with Tethrd we are postponing the event. I will continue to talk with them about the possibility moving it to this summer. We had nearly 60 people signed up so at this point it does not look like things will be settled down in time to put this event on in a few weeks. We will update as soon as the next decision is made.

If anyone has any other brand saddle, platform or sticks and want to bring them that is fine too.

I will bring ALL my saddle hunting gear to share.

Happy Independence Day Everyone!

We are finally down to the one week countdown!

Tethrd will be supplying subway sandwiches, chips, and water for lunch for us. It’s going to be a hot one so we will have plenty of water to keep you hydrated while swinging from the trees.

They also have shipped me a ton of gear for giveaways! We will have everything from shirts, hats, accessories, and the grand prize giveaways of a Predator platform and Phantom saddle.

We will not be able to shoot from the saddles at this event but I did just picked up an accubow so you guys can get a feel of how easy it really is to shoot from a saddle.

Remember safety is the name of the game: if you feel sick at all please do not come, if you feel uncomfortable about shared demo gear please wear a mask and gloves (these will not be provided). It looks like it will be 100+ temps so stay hydrated and bring sun protection. We will supply some water but if you need more you might bring some. Also, when using equipment please use the equipment safely and as it’s intended.

Hope to see you all there! Have a safe and fun weekend!

An extra one couldn’t hurt. If you are willing to let folks shoot it.

If there a few more experienced saddle hunters that want to step up here or there to help folks that are completely new would be great too.

I think we are pretty covered on everything else though.

Hey it’s finally here!!! Tomorrow is the big event! We had 74 folks grab tickets!

Due to the new ordinance imposed this week in Norman, we are required to wear masks or maintain social distancing of 6’. That might be a little hard with the numbers we have. So if you can please bring a mask so that we abide by the ordinance. According to the ordinance it does not have to be anything special. I will probably just bring my fishing neck gator and look like a true tree ninja!

Help spread the word, please! And remember it’s going to be over 100 degrees. So bring extra water and plan accordingly!

See you all there!!

Thanks for coming! Always good to get your better half on board! Did you sign a contract to get a 1/2 share of that Phantom?

Probably should have, but at least he is heading the same direction now, always good when brothers are heading down the same slippery slope.
