So, as I’ve been re-tuning and building my sage, I realized that each and every part of it either has been or could be purchased from Amazon.

I got the arrows I’m using and the limbs on the bow from folks on here. But otherwise, everything from my inserts to the glue I used to put the fletching on is from Amazon. Even the bow string. Literally everything. That being said, my Amazon scale puts my total arrow weight at 620 grains.

I decided to go with a three fletch helical this year because my bow didn’t seem to like the four fle last year.

I did nock tuning and finally got things right. Decided to fletch and here’s the first group!

150 grain random Amazon brand brass insert, 150 grain field points and iron will knock off heads (from Amazon).
I haven’t shot with broadheads yet, but I will soon!

How do you like the field points?
Dude these are super nice. They come in a sweet little tin with little o-rings that keep them from coming unscrewed. I actually put them on my broadhead threads too. They’re like $15 bucks I think but they really are nice heads.
The broadheads have impressed me. I’ve sharpened them and shot them through scapulas from dead deer, 2x2s and other random crap and they have flat out penetrated everything.

You know, the title of this thread and your write up makes me think we should start our own contest similar to @Nutterbuster's where we take the cheapest trad stuff possible and build deer slaying rigs.

I think my current setup could compete.
Gotta be able to stick some deers with them struggle sticks first. HA!

If y'all start another contest I'm in. VTbow gifted me a bow and a former coworker gifted me a dozen old fiberglass shafts. I have some $2 chinadermics and my great-grandad's glove. I'm in like Flynn.

Dude I’m in!

While you’re at it, check out these Gucci string silencers. You’ll never guess where I got them!

Hehee. Let me see where @trailblazer75 got his knockoff Iron Wills and we'll see where this goes.

It's really hilarious because I have the exact same ones! I think they're targeting us.
I’m sure of it. Those jinzad broadheads really impressed me. I even shot them out of my compound bow and they flat out worked. They were hard to sharpen because they don’t come sharp from the factory but once I got past that, they have held an edge!
