I am just not personally a fan of their rope offerings. I believe there are better options out there
For me personally, their 8mm rescue tech doesn’t hold knots or hitch grab as well as dual sheath Bluewater rope or as well as sterling oplux does.
I didn’t like the KM3 or x static as much as I like Bluewater assault line or 11mm protac.
And I didn’t like the chameleon near as much as I like Samson for Ddrt. I put them on par with All Gear.
They aren’t the worst by any means but to me they are not as good as other options in the same diameters, usage and price range. Its all personal preferences really

Teufelberger is probably what you'll find used the most amongst actual tree climbers. Samson has the rigging market cornered though.

Teufelberger changed the SRT game and I believe they've been around long before most other guys, including Samson.

That being said, I use what I need for different applications or devices.

I agree 100%. I was actually just explaining that to someone in the messenger. Ropes are super subjective to preferred use and material/build properties. What works for a bridge for me doesn’t work as a tether. What works best as a tether isn’t what I prefer to climb SRT on. Ddrt requires a completely different construction.
 
In the Navy sand in ropes was bad juju. I had that beat into my tiny little brain so my ropes never touch dirt. Now they are dirty from wet trees, dry trees and in between trees. But never in the sand or dirt. I've gotten blood and dirt on my tubular webbing tether a time or two using it and my saddle to drag deer out. But a quick shot with the hose pipe and an OR scrub brush takes care of that.
