I had bucks running does all day yesterday . While hunting yesterday morning I saw two bucks running a doe hard. Saw 16 deer up until about 9 am, then things calmed down. Sat there until 10 and had to get down to meet my son. I eased out off the woods and walked to my truck only to find a buck bedded about 10 yards above it. I stood there taking a few pictures when another buck came around the ridge. Well the buck that was bedded stood up and immediately the other buck came straight down and a brief fight ensued. I was worried that they would hit my truck but the smaller buck ran off. The other buck the proceeded to tend the doe in less than 20 yards of me. Went back in yesterday around lunch and had small bucks bumping does all evening. Just didn’t see the buck I was after. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I'm hunting the mountains of sc and I've been seeing bucks running does hard as well. BTW you got a nice truck.

Good luck hunting. Thanks, I really like it. Hard to find anything in a stick shift anymore. No complaints so far and it gets 22mpg around here.

I love it here. I just wish people around here were willing to allow people to hunt their land. It didn't use to be a problem but now that most of the older generation has passed on and the land has been sold out. I'm a poor boy and cannot afford 10 to 20k an acre to buy and have tried leasing but keeping the trespassers out is a real pain. I finally have made my mind up to hunt public land and cannot pack 30 plus pounds on my back with the elevation changes I have to walk to get away from everyone. I'm getting too old and fat. I cannot wait to get a saddle to hopefully make it more enjoyable.

I know what you mean I am a poor boy too and it's hard to find land to hunt here also! And the saddle will work perfect for you good luck!
