this is a British artist, he has Lyme disease. it is 9 min long. A lot of people are sharing it to watch others reactions

When I seen Mr krinkle wheeling him out I got excited.....excitement melded into confusion. I mean he can rhyme, and his song takes lots of time, but I didn't hear anything about lyme

ticks are soon to come out again around here......everyone should look into permethrin for their clothes....i'll be treating mine soon...i wish it was safe to shower in after being outdoors.....it's the same stuff in lice/scabies treatments, but you aren't supposed to use those products all the time on your skin

although research gives conflicting accounts and some show it safer/less absorbing into skin than DEET.....including a study on folks that worked applying it to clothing for the military and they supposedly showed no long term effects....permethrin was first identified in the chrysanthemum flower, which doesn't make it harmless but interesting at least

Had a forester visit a few years back, he talked about his battle with lyme and its effect on his heart. Could tell it changed his life, he only wears pre treated clothing now. Going out without treated garments is so easy to do, but man it’s a risk.

the part of our brain that handles fear response is very primitive

we are more afraid of a lion at the zoo behind bars than a tick, despite the tick harming way more people in the US each year

kids everywhere are most afraid of spiders and snakes, even if in the inner city around drive by shooters
