The other day my final stick popped off as I transitioned to my platform. Basically twisted horizontally and stayed in place. This is my second trip up with the daisy chains I made.
Is there any tips on placement of stick in relation to the rope level that helps it bite better? For reference I have cut LW with muddy standoffs.
I've tried letting some slack and have the rope far above the button, but I can't seem to find that solid connection I get with a cam buckle.
So its either my technique, the bark, the standoffs or the nature of amseel.
