To Seat or Not To Seat...That is the question

so I have been flipping around trying different cushions for my sit drag....I really liked the EVA foam cushion that I have been using. I went to a self inflating one that I had laying around....I liked it but the dang attachment is towards the back so it is is a constant fight to keep it from twisting the actual saddle seat. How many use a cushion or should I just forget it and keep working with tether height and positioning further down the thigh?
 
I use a Therma rest pad I got from the local sporting goods store. Cut it in half and sewed elastic strips to the SD to hold it in place. I really like it. Very comfy!

That's what I did. Cut a CCF (foam) camping pad to size. Sew in 3 or 4 elastic straps (I used 4) and you're good to go.
