To the vertically challenged.

I thought the same thing until I tried it a few times. Just find something that you are comfortable with and keep practicing.
 
I plan on trying it at some point. I'm a noob and haven't even got my H2 in yet. So you are well advanced than me. I have been messing with my Heliums though to get used to them until the saddle gets here.
 
I would loosen the linemans belt so you can put it up higher and be able to get your knee up. Practice at ground level only until you get the hang of it
