To those that have bought the Triad bridge from H2

I reached out to H2 to see if they would make a Triad with genuine Amsteel. They did nt reject the idea but said they would look into cost and let me know. It's been a few days and I haven't heard back. My guess is if enough demand is there, they would switch or offer both.

The full bury and larger amsteel may also be the reason a homemade ultra bridge slides better. I never want to be a fanboy on this site or the site becomes useless.

The ropes are different for sure, maybe the lack of full rope bury and rope diameter is an issue. I like the triad design because there is no need for comfort channels with that design.

It grabs so tight to the bridge loops it will replace comfort channels for sure

On an H2? Did you find the articulation of the saddle affected comfort level at all?

Yes. You can move the pressure either to the top strap or bottom strap. That does affect where the pressure points occur - on your butt or back or on your legs.

Acts like the comfort channels on the phantom, allowing vertical adjustment

I was looking to verify this. You used a triad bridge then, and found it to work like that? Same type of functionality as the comfort channel idea? Thanks!!

I have it on a mantis and think it helps a lot. I put it towards the bottom of the bridge loops and it helps it cup quite a bit and comfort factor went up substantially. I assume it helps like the comfort channels but I haven’t tried a phantom yet but looking forward to it. The only reason I haven’t bought one yet is bc I’m waiting on my kestrel to arrive.

I will say when you load it, it seems to bite more than Amsteel brand dyneema and takes a little more to finesse to get unlocked. Also not as supple as Amsteel brand but it Works as intended.

Would burying some 1/4” amsteel in the triad bridge improve the slidability of the bridge in the carabiner and the adjustability of the prussic
knots?
