Trad Guys.... Need broadhead recommendations

But remember, if you don't get enough weight up front (over 200 gain most of the time) you'll suffer good flight with traditional

Get a set of these for them if you really want a good flight and great penetration. https://ethicsarchery.com/collectio...46-125-to-200-gn-12-pk?variant=12429397983255

When I get a new bow and work-up my arrow set-up for it I'll be using weighted inserts to play with FOC. For now, I have my arrows tuned and they fly great with 150-175 heads. Changing anything else at this point would require more arrow tuning and/or new arrows. Definately a "next-year project" after I get the new bow... bought too much saddle-related gear this year to afford the new bow. I'll be hitting ETAR next year and shooting everything I can get my hands on though.

I'm kind of late to this conversation but here is my two cents. I started my trad journey with single bevel Zwicky No Mercys. I struggled to get them sharp. It wasn't the broadheads fault, I just stink at sharpening anything. I switched to Magnus Stingers 2 blade. I shot three deer with them. They got great penetration but very small holes and not much blood considering the shot placement. This year I am going to shoot Magnus Stinger 4 blade/ with the bleeder. I also bought some Tusker Deltas for my Osage bow and cane arrow set up. They are a good inexpensive option and I've been happy with them so far. They sell on eBay for pretty cheap and seem well made.

If you like the Magnus heads, get the buzz cut. Lot better blood trails.
