Tradbow Hunting from a Saddle

I started on a recurve many (too many) years ago. Decided to get back into it. Bought a new bow yesterday and plan on spending a month or so getting back into form. Hope to be shooting from my saddle in the backyard by early May. Looking forward to next season more than in few years.

I hunt with a 60" recurve and I feel more stable from the saddle than a tree stand. I have zero issues with swinging during the shot. You always have at least three contact points in a saddle (2 feet and your butt) vs. just 2 in a stand. (I never took a shot from a stand in a seated position.) Like others have said, practice is required, but I think you'll find it easier to maintain your shooting form from a saddle.
