Trapping

Send me your address to me so when my nuisance trapping friends catch a skunk that's been relocated so they know who to send skunks or cleaning bills to. Relocated (illegal in most states FYI)skunks don't take kindly to being caught again. They'll spray anything alive that comes near them. No chance at all to calm them down. They stay pissed off.
It is illegal to transport live feral hogs in Fl, but I transport them to my freezer all them time after I administer them a 653 grain chest injection of CrAlNiFe containing C14. They stay very docile and are easy to transport to the freezer following that injection.

@Nutterbuster what is the total body count at this point and do I even want to know what a "buffalo gnat" is?
They are like dog pecker gnats but bigger and meaner like Nutter described. When they get bad down here, there is no way to be outside. Generally only a real problem around water. Skin so soft works ok if they arent swarming. Carmex and vanilla also work ok if they arent real bad.

OSR hair spray works.

I was wondering why all the Alabama boys always looked so greasy, finally the riddle is solved

That's a new one for me. Being follically impaired I am not up on hair sprays.
It works for gnats like DEET works for mosquitos. It's frankly miraculous. It's a hair treatment/conditioner/thing that black folks use. I haven't been able to get my hands on it local this year. About to order it. First time somebody told me about it I laughed it off. Then I tried it and it was a pleasant surprise. It makes life livable for the couple of weeks they get really bad on the river.

Now if there was just something to make mayflies not congregate on the river so thick that they filled up the bottom of your boat and smelled like roadkill the next morning...

Y'all are some sick puppies. Here me and Amos was thinking it was kinda mean to pop one in the face with a .22wmr bullet and throw 'em in the river.

Neighbor gave me permission to set a trap under his camp. Saw one under there last night and didn't fire because I didn't want to risk busting a pipe or something. Sarah says she saw 4 sets of eyes one night. I've only seen three. So we're either down to the last man or we have a two man team. Even odds at least. Me and ole Amos think we can take'em.
Throw 'em in the river? I thought you southern boys loved coon? I've roasted 'em over an open flame before, would rather be more patient but we were survival camping way back then and that's what I bagged that morning for breakfast!!! Trout is better in the mornin' than coon.

I've had raccoon baked in a crock pot before. It was tolerable. But not something good enough for me to want to incorporate into my diet. Especially with raccoons hanging around neighborhoods.

I wouldn’t eat the ones in neighborhoods eating from trash cans and dog food, however wild coon that lives on acorns and berries are pretty good in stew or BBQ’d

So they're back.

Shot 3 last night and had a trap with bait stolen. So far I'm at like 13-14 raccoons dead this year. May have to buy thermal vision optics for the .22wmr and the buckmark. :)
I have an ATN X-sight digital NV on a 17HMR with a Silencerco spectre II can...best set up I have had for critters. Thermal is too dang expensive.
