Just finished my version of a Sling/Saddle all in one! I liked being able to carry enough stuff on my saddle to not have another bag, so I incorporated the gear loops in the waist belt like the saddle, but liked the lightweight version of the tree Sling. So let me know what you all think.

Awesome! How about posting plans. Love my modified Anderson sling, but am intrigued by your pictures.....
 
Looks very light weight and nice. Comfort can be an issue in the smaller lighter saddles so let us know how comfortable your design is.
 
Cool! What did you use to do the sewing and what kind of thread did you use?
