We still love them. We were all FNGs at one time. And I would venture to say that there are new guys that know a lot more about certain methods and tactics than some of us F-OLD guys! Lol.
Isn't that the truth! And you need to add F-old to our other thread LOL!!!!

Where the skys are so blue!
Yeah, I gleefully take credit for bringing the design into the public eye via a video of an original @Vtbow sold me. Mark ran with it, and I need to do a video on the new aluminum one.

The old steel one wasn't slippery. It actually felt very safe and secure to me compared to a lot of other platforms because of the overall shape and how insanely sturdy it was on a tree.

As far as packing, it's small enough to go inside most packs, and not folding means no moving parts to clank. I felt like it was easier to pack and deal with than the predator I also had at the time.

The new aluminum platform has a grit texture on the mesh. It’s really not slippery at all. Even on the edges, the ends of the mesh grab your boot tread well.

It packs perfect in the front pocket of my little scouting/early season pack. Just point the legs away from your body and it’l work on any.

I just got one. I love ghe weight, size and comfort.. i dont like that is squeeks like a sumbich when shifting weight. I have another thread discussing it. Sounds like the paint used is slick and can cause squeeks. Another member sanded and repainted and said it is now silent. Im going to do the same but with bedliner rattle can spray.. i may also work the "teeth" a little with a dremel. Give it a little more bite..

Let us know how it comes out for you. I had a tree suite and really liked it but ended up returning it for this very reason. I may get another and do this mod if it works well.
