In the John eberharts video he has his tether over a t screw in why is that ?
 
Large trees are hard to get tether around.


Check out the first picture. Cranford sells them.

WOW was just wondering if a strap tether is better than a rope just trying to get all the info I can before I buy my saddle setup
 
He has it looped over why it does not look attached
He has another t hook on the back side of the tree I think. I am pretty sure that the old Anderson saddle he uses has to be ran through the loop on the tether strap loop, like a sit drag. 2 t hooks prevents that. Newer saddles are multiple components instead of all in one, and safer in my opinion hooking up.
