Picked up a trophy line about a month ago so I could jump into saddle hunting this year. I'm now running a predator platform as well as of Friday and that's a game changer in comfort but I was wondering is anyone or has anyone created a back support to use with a trophyline saddle similar to the kesteral or mantis back support.

@bongo was using his kestrel back support on a piece of paracord and a cam jam for adjustment. That should work on anything using a carabiner for hookup. Doesn’t have to be a saddle specific back support. A rifle sling, strap off a duffel bag, binoculars, or even just a piece of 2” webbing can be made to work.

The difference is that on the TL the bridge is webbing not a amsteel or rope. I do not think this will work ..

Haven’t used a Trophyline but f the bridge has a biner it will work. Cam Jam hooks to backband and paracord clips into biner.

Could you then still adjust it up and down? for comfort and for when the shot opportunity comes?

Yes you just take your weight off of it and it falls down to your but. Occasionally you would have to move it by hand but it’s not any harder than getting any other system out of the way for a shot.

Sure the camjam is a jam cleat like for sailboat rigging. It works like an ascender pull line one way through jam-cleat and it stops wherever you stop pulling. To relax it you pull the rope out of the cleat and let it relax then put it back in cleat. I’m making this complicated and it’s not google camjam from nite eze.

I appreciate the ideas know thing of it I wonder if I could use something similar to this around the webbing strap so it can adest up and down. Then clip an sbiner or something similar to the existing band bands used. Just looking for something to provide alittle relief for really long sits. Trying to be ready for long sits with the upcoming rut here in Alabama

If somebody finds a good option on the TL saddle I’d like to hear about it. The big webbing bridge (which I wanna change out, but that’s a different story) is what causes me issues when trying to figure out a backband hookup. I haven’t needed a backband this season yet but I also haven’t been able to do any really long sits, i think on a long sit it would be great to have.
