Short story is they work good and insulate in the cold.
However, I found the straps to be too short as I could just get them on over my insulated bibs with pants and long johns on.
Another two inches should do it.
We hunt some serious cold up here..

I agree. They work but mine are just about maxed out on the strap. Any thicker plants and they'd be tough to get on.

Agreed straps are too short to go over bibs. There are two holes on either side of the clip that goes over the retention button. I put a piece of elastic cord through those holes to form a loop and then tied it off on the back side. Just hook the elastic cord over the retention button and adjust the strap like normal. Gives me plenty of room for layers or I can still use the strap like normal.
