Trophyline mission platform

Has anyone tried carrying in the mission with a Eberlestock X2. I want to get a bigger platform for gun season, and I am worried about how to pack it in.

So I rattle caned my mission and bought a second cause it’s roomy, quiet when the ground is wet and easy to set. I have been a sitter when it comes to saddles, but I am seeing the advantages of being a leaner more and more.

It's not a Mission platform but if anyone is interested, this is how I carry my Predator and I'm sure it could be adapted to the Mission by you DIY guys...

Awesome idea! I bet if you don’t have D rings on your pack but have molle they can be girth hitched directly to the pack as well!

Mine is not painted just raw cast aluminum

update on packing it.Once I decided that it was just a mini treestand and to pack according it got easier for me to deal with. Instead of trying to find a pack I put XOPtreestand backpack straps on it and got my Beast sticks to pack well on it. I’m liking that setup now.
Can you post pics? I’m running beast sticks as well..

Get a bow hook and wear it on your hipbelt, belt, or saddle.

Jim Hole Jr. does the same thing with his stand. He actually has a hook on his stand that slides over his safetybelt rather than a hook, but still the same concept. He also has a hook on his left side for his bow. Pack on back. He gets to tree and climbs right up with everything attached. He doesn't want any scent on the ground. Check out the following video:

At the 1:34 to 1:40 mark, you can see the hook on Jim's stand on the right hand side of the video. No reason something like this or a bow hook wouldn't work with the Mission.
At the 3:28 to 3:34 mark, you can see Jim load his stand and bow onto his belt.
Next in the video it shows Jim climbing a tree with his stand and bow attached and setting up. He isn't using a saddle but the concepts are similar as he hangs his lone wolf hangon.
this is like bootcamp the “BuDS of bow hunting. I want to go here now.

I can't seem to find anything about the mission and the weak side shot. Specifically 2-3 o'clock if you had to bring your bow over your bridge. I can almost pull it off on the regular predator platform, but I make to much movement. What did you all find using the mission in this situation this season? Thanks.

I wasn't bow hunting, but I was crossbow, shotgun and rifle hunting out of asaddle and the mission. I just lengthen my tether, turn my back towards the tree, the tether over my non-shooting shoulder, lean into the tether a little and take the shot.
