Hey guys I'm very new to saddle hunting and I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse here but I'd like to hear from people who have the trophy line lite saddle..I didn't do alot of research and just ordered one and played around with it in the yard and it doesn't seem half bad ( I hate the web bridge) I haven't put hours into it so I can't really take about the comfort aspect..I'm just curious if I should expect buy a more comfortable saddle like the phantom or cruzr, the problem is everything is very far out..I believe the cruzr is 4 to 5 weeks out and my season starts the 15 of Sept.. I'm kinda feeling like I wasted my money by all the feedback on this trophy line. I just know if it's not comfortable I'm not going to want to wear it.

It should work fine. Just use it. It has to be a pretty bad saddle to not be useable. Most people are too critical. How are you climbing? I have a Trophyline Pro I bought used and I sat in it and it was fine. If you are a stander it will be great. If a sitter not as good.

Without sitting in it for a while, you really wont know where the pressure points are. I make my own saddles now and when I hang in my back yard with some, they fell soooo comfortable, but after hanging for a couple of hours I go back to the drawing board, or an old trusty.

Id say I'm mostly a stander, I've got some kneedpads coming and also a predator platform so that should help. I'm currently running 3 LW sticks with one aider and that gets me to about 20 ft or so. Thanks and I know people can be picky but it's sucked because I couldn't find anyone who had one for me to try before I bought it so I just said screw it

I think you will be happy saddlehunting in any saddle. I switch from sitting to standing to rest certain areas, feet or butt.

You really need to put some time into it and make the decision yourself. Comfort for me was fine but I couldn’t get past the bridge. Everyone is different.

As far as timing, my suggestion is order the one you want to and hunt with the TL until it arrives then sell it.

Some people are particular about comfort. I’ve never been uncomfortable in any of the saddles I’ve owned or tried. Some annoyed me more than others. Some I got caught up in the marketing hype and caved. Some I just wanted to try. In the end, I can still hunt out of my sitdrag all day and kill deer just like I did the first season.

I have the Trophyline Light and I really like it. Very comfortable for my anatomy. Own five other saddles(I can find something to dislike in all of them).
I think the strap bridge is fine so long as you use the right carabiner. Not a problem with the biner TL provides with its tether.
IMO, TL has the leg straps exactly right; big, non-adjustable, no buckles, step in and never think about them until the next time you put it on.
Biggest gripe for me is that damn waist belt buckle. Seriously, ***?(I guess double U T F gets censored) Worst on the market. PITA to thread that thing with gloves on. They’ve got to fix that buckle, period.
