What kind of aiders are any of you using besides the cable aider with this stick? Trying to see how you would connect an amsteel or webbing aider to this stick with a single step on it. Thanks.

I run those sticks with a versa aider and used to have an EWO double step on the top.
I modded them so they lay completely flat so if i change out to the double step i lose that. I may have to spend the money on cables. Just don't feel like dropping $50 on 4 pieces of cable.

Are you familiar with Carry As You Go aiders (CAYG)? It's just a loop of webbing that goes over the top of the stick and hangs whatever distance you'd like below the bottom step. You just carry it with you as you go, hence the name. Easy, nothing attached to your sticks, nothing blowing around in the wind.

Yes i I’m familiar. I’ll have to check one out. Thanks

i weigh 180 and i feel like that’s too much weight to be hanging from the versa button. It’s only a quarter inch bolt

I'm close to that with my pack and stuff on as I climb. Haven't had a single issue and none of the bolts have bent. When stacked the bolt head still goes into the hole of the next stick.
