Trophyline Saddle Kit

Anyone have any thoughts on the sewn loops (tether and linemans ropes) in the pic vs spliced loops like Tethrd uses?
Like said above there is nothing wrong with sewn loops. I think one major benefit to go with sewn eyes for a manufacturer is being able to use rope that’s available. That way when a rope is unavailable you can just grab something else that is the right color and climbing spec. No backorders on account of rope availability.

Is this the Wild Edge saddle that holds the perch?

You're thinking of the Yarak the wild edge and aerohunter collaborated on and dropped this weekend. This is the old Trophyline company coming back out with a saddle.

It's been a busy off season!

Gotcha. So many saddles to track. Has anyone seen the yarak?

I think there's a whole different thread for that saddle. This thread is for the new TL.

With that picture I can't really tell much about the saddle. I am guessing the vertical straps are leg straps and not the shoulder straps like on the original trophy line.

Does the bridge tighten to form a belt like the original (which I thought was pretty clever)?

Anybody know what is different than what we can currently get from a Mantis or Kestrel?

Those are leg straps, no suspenders, and yes bridge remains the same ... from what I can tell. Looks smaller than original. Added a layer of Molle. Color kicks ass. We will need to wait on specs and price. But man I can’t wait.

I think all anybody knows so far is what TL has put on their social media pages.

I would hazard a guess that they'll keep the old bridge/belt, which I liked. I would also imagine that they're keeping the fixed leg loops, which I also liked and at one point had on my kestrel. Fixed leg loops would be an improvement in my eyes over nonrated g-hooks, and would be lighter, quieter and easier to manufacture (cheaper) than the buckles AH saddles use.

Also, dope pouches. I really just want to see the dope pouches.

Trophyline made some really nice pouches. I’m as progressive as the next guy but why do you need to carry so much to the stand that it necessitates its own pouch.
