I wanted to get this saddle when i bought the neoprene one I've always used. That saddle right there is pure gold!! I've just recently gone to an rope tether after 10 seasons but still prefer the linesman strap , it adjusts with one hand and has saved me a few times over the years. Great score man. My saddle is a little big on me but is super comfortable for all day sits. Congratulations on that one.

Hey, the extra room might be nice for cold weather layers
We got some cool weather for bama in the morning so I’ll be bundled up. We will see how she sits. Gonna try it out tonight when I get back.

Is the lineman’s belt also the bridge on this thing?

I’m new to saddle hunting and this is my first sit in a saddle but I don’t think this will work for me. Might have to pay the membership and try and get this thing sold so I can get back to hunting. Shouldn’t have sold my hang-on for the saddle before I knew what was what. Still gonna try a few other models before throwing in the towel

Dont get discouraged, someone will snatch that up in a heartbeat, try the sh user map and see if anyone is around you and you can try their saddle before you give up on saddle hunting

All right I gave it another try after my morning sit and it’s not as bad as what I initially thought. I’m still a little confused on how to connect to the tree though or at least how you’re supposed to connect to the tree with the straps provided.

glad to hear it was better today, id recommend you give it a good chance before you abandon it entirely.

heres a good video on how to use the included tether with the trophyline, i dont use the included tether, i prefer a rope tether personally. smaller and easier to use

Yea I’m not a fan of the strap or the lineman’s belt. If i keep it I’d want lineman’s rope and rope tether

I have one that I bought used, they had cut the strap bridge off and used a piece of 9mm rope.
I really like it for cold weather sits.

I have a trophy also. Switched to a mantis tether and will be switching the suspenders to a contractors harness from home depot. The suspenders are not comfprtable but the saddle itsekf is.

I’d love to see photos of your build!

Noooo dont hack it up..
The strap limesman works great and can be adjusted with one hand. I used the tether strap for aprox a decade and this year ive finally switched to an rope tether, i like the rope tether which goes perfect with the strap bridge. The strap bridge also doubles as an belt for walking in and its an adjustable bridge that will last a lifetime with no worries. The strap linesman belt for me works way better than a rope ; prolly cause i dont habe an ropeman ; but you dont need an ropeman with the strap / buckle combo that comes with it ( adjusts with one hand).
